Page 1 of the Wolverine sample script I'm working off. Having to leave room for big narations and the title image/credit thingie is something I never even considered before.

I'm hoping I didn't leave too much space for that stuff.

Soooooo annoyed

A snippet from one of the panels of one of the many pages I failed to finish because I am unable to be happy with anything that I draw.

Sitting at my desk doing the actual drawing is relaxing and it makes me feel happy. However, when I see the end results of what I drew I am never ever happy with it.

99.9% of what I draw ends up in the trash with that last little bit becoming scratch paper for my ink tests.

The horrible heat ...

Lets try this one more time

In an effort to keep my brother from going insane and to prove to him I really am working on the submissions I say I am. I'm going to redouble my efforts to make sure I get up at least a panel a day of new things instead of me playing around on a half-dozen or more random things a day.
Here are some roughish pencils of an action panel, still need to go in and clean them up a bit before inking them. Maybe that will be tomorrow's panel or maybe it will be another pencilled on.
Too early to tell at this point.

Yippy ...

Working through my inking shortcomings by just grinding through the page to learn what works and what doesn't work.
There is no way to learn things other than to screw up.
I've got most of it in, I need to find my design of the gun still, lost a sketchbook with all my reference stuff so it's taking longer than I had hoped.
Will be adding some inkwash and maybe some paints once the line work is done.
